VETERINARIANS CLOSE TO YOU

Independent and values-driven, Flair & cie is a network of ten veterinary clinics run by practicing veterinarian-owners dedicated to excellence, compassion, and their local communities. Our purpose is simple: to provide local veterinary care led by Quebec veterinarians.

Proudly independent

Unlike what is increasingly seen in veterinary medicine today, Flair & cie takes a different approach. We are a network of independently owned veterinary clinics led by a team of women veterinarian-partners who retain ownership and remain actively involved in day-to-day practice and decision-making.

Born in 2018, this model of local governance is built on the quality of care and fosters workplaces on a human scale, dedicated to serving animals and their families.

Independence here is lived in concrete ways: choices guided by professional expertise, relationships of trust with our clients, and the freedom to innovate without waiting for centralized directives. In contrast to standardized models, Flair & cie prioritizes listening, accessibility, and community engagement. To be engaged locally also means reinvesting where it matters most. That’s why we invest in continuing education, support recent graduates, and host externships at our clinics — strengthening the future of veterinary medicine within our communities.

For our owners, those who work in their clinics every day , being “Proudly Independent” means embracing a way of practicing veterinary medicine that keeps decisions in the hands of those who provide care, right where the needs are. It is a deliberate choice of autonomy that protects our primary mission: to provide quality healthcare for companion animals. To achieve this, Flair & cie works to keep veterinary medicine in Quebec in the hands of veterinarians, firmly rooted in their communities.

"First and foremost, to embrace a new challenge alongside an extraordinary team of women with diverse strengths. I believe that together, we can make great strides in improving care for all animal species, strengthening the bond between pets and their families, and expanding our collective knowledge about them. Our goal is to ensure animal well-being, make every clinic visit a more positive experience, create enjoyable and rewarding work environments for our teams, and show clients and the public the value of having a professional team dedicated not only to the health of our pets, but also to the broader principles of the ‘One Health’ approach."
