OWNER AND MANAGER

Dr. Evelyne Joubert graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2005. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences (2000) and a certificate in management from HEC Montréal (2020). She is one of the four founding partners of Flair & cie, alongside Dr. Lucie Hénault, Dr. Stéphanie Surveyer, and Isabelle Asselin. Since 2011, she has been practising at Hôpital vétérinaire Le Gardeur, caring for dogs and cats, as well as small mammals, birds, and reptiles.

Dr. Joubert is pleased to see Flair & cie grow as an independent group of businesses that is 100% Quebec-owned. In her daily practice, she focuses on Low Stress and Fear Free approaches, which are integrated from the very first interaction with clients and their pets. With its multidisciplinary and inclusive team, which welcomes individuals who may require additional support, Hôpital vétérinaire Le Gardeur offers a wide range of services and expertise, helping to foster strong patient-client-veterinarian relationships.

More specifically, I have a particular interest in surgery, ophthalmology, and exotic animal medicine. It is a profession in which you never stop learning. You need to work well as part of a team and with clients, be both thorough and flexible, and show empathy without becoming overwhelmed by the emotional roller-coaster that inevitably comes with our daily work.”
