Dr EVELYNE JOUBERT
OWNER AND MANAGER
"Practicing veterinary medecine since 2005, what motivates me every day is helping animals, and their families, navigate life’s many stages, from birth through to the end of life. More specifically, I have a particular interest in surgery, ophthalmology and exotic animal medicine. This profession is one of continuous learning; it requires teamwork, collaboration with clients, scientific rigor combined with flexibility, and the ability to remain empathetic while maintaining balance in the face of the rollercoaster of emotions that our daily lives inevitably involve."
Évelyne is proud to see Flair & Cie as a group of 100% Quebec-owned clinics, independent from large American and European corporate groups. In a profession that is rapidly evolving, she emphasizes the benefits of Low Stress and Fear Free techniques. From the very first client call, stress management is considered part of the care process. Thanks to its multidisciplinary team, Hôpital vétérinaire Le Gardeur offers not only a wide range of services and expertise (exotic animal care, for example), but also a variety of personalities: “Beyond clinical skills, it's also important to find someone you can connect with,” explains Évelyne. "We're an inclusive team, which increases the chances of forming strong patient–client–veterinarian partnerships! In line with this inclusive approach, we also employ individuals with mild disabilities, and contributing to their personal and professional fulfillment is something I take great pride in", she adds.
